News flash! Today's episode of Girl Genius has a soundtrack!

(You might notice a slight discrepancy in the lyrics printed at the Girl Genius page compared to the audio. This time, it ain't me. :) I'll get it cleared up in the morning.)

"Oh, I feel great in this bouncing state,
All hail to thee, Merano!..."

Sorry. Flashback...

Nooooo prob. 'Sfunny, I didn't think about that one while writing this, but I did think about "Anthem". Phil wanted something that the characters were serious about... or at least the guys on the Chamber of Commerce who wrote it were serious about.

Ah. I was going by the lyrics -- only just got a chance to listen (just got home from work, which is where the earlier post was from). Yeah, somehow I was expecting something a little different in the melody, but that's probably precisely because I flashed to "Merano" (I was even doing the whistling bit as I walked downstairs to my car...)

Nope. I am working on it, but I'm working on a bunch of more immediate paying jobs as well.

Very cool.

You do realize the placards along the road advertising are all names of other Webcomics, about half of which I follow? A little in-joke Phil tossed in, I guess.

Come to think of it, it's been a long time since I had a beer with Phil at Capricon, in gosh, 1991? When did I get so damn old?

Yeah. I love the "Bob the Angry Flower" ref. :) He does that kinda stuff all the time -- remember the Bazaar on Deva in the comic of Another Fine Myth?

I did not catch the references in the Another Fine Myth comic. Now I have a reason to re-read it again. Darn! :-)

I'm living in suspense. You mention that this is "not all of it." Will we hear/see the rest on Friday, or is it going to take longer?
