Good music, good friends. I've got a concert sometime Saturday, and there will be some time at one of the open filks Saturday night devoted to remembering Dave Alway.

We'll be there early this afternoon...being that it's in our backyard almost. Jane's staffing registration and I'm supposed to take part in something called a "sound check". I'm sure they'll explain it to me. :-)

Enjoy the Eggplants and some of the other dementia acts at I-Con, Harold! Unfortunately, I notice on wormquartet's LJ this morning that his voice has bombed out and he's had to cancel for I-Con, but hopefully everyone else will make it.

I am going to be recording, pending permissions being granted (most of FuMP has granted it) and copies will be passed along to the FuMP players.

Sharing beyond them requires THEIR permission. (Who knows, it may appear on a FuMP CD in the future. Rob Balder has already used one song I recorded on FuMP.)

I will enjoy the acts at the con. The Bards shall be interesting to see again. Along with seeing a few people for the first time. I am running the open filk BOTH nights, so I will be recording anything that gets sung.
