Google Bomb
May. 1st, 2007 12:24 pmOkay, so did anybody else's Google home page default itself? Because I had some kinda important stuff on mine, and it went blooey, and I got cheesed and reconfigured it, and I tried to change a setting for one thing -- a dictionary gadget, just which dictionary would show up as default -- and the whole thing went blooey again. And the "help" system led me in two different circles. Not a good way to keep my trust, Google.
Update: It's back. I copied the info that I needed, and all is good. Oy.

Or maybe not, depending on how they managed it and whether you were using it during the glitch.
