Jerry Falwell dead at 73.
If you know me at all, you know how I feel about this man and his words and his work. But that doesn't matter for the moment. A man is dead. May he find whatever rest he sought.
Mr. Falwell, at this point you will find out if you were right. For your sake, good luck.

Date: 2007-05-15 11:58 pm (UTC)I also don't conceive of either Heaven or Hell in terms of real estate. Heaven is being closer to the Divine source of life & Hell is distance, hence there is a chance for one's karma to either "drop you into God's lap", or "drop you into that sensory deprivation container wa-aa-a-a-y off over there", or anywhere in between.
His minions will pray for his swift entry into heaven, his enemies will be hoping for the opposite. As someone else who his chosen policies have effected & would effect even more so if any more of them got enacted & enforced (even if they are/were blindingly contradictory to the constitution) I can only wish him luck.
Gee, I said more here than I planned. Oh well.
