Being a part of InCon, I got to meet and talk to Don many times, and indeed, it's a sad day. I remember one of the last times I got to speak to him was at InCon 2005, where it was remarked that I had achieved another first...a summer rerun (I had basically had us do the play from Starbase Indy for that year..so, the play had already run the november before).

Where's the fireplace? I have a glass I need to shatter.

RIP

I knew his face but not his name. I didn't realize (until now) but I saw him several places, in SF Fandom, at the Falls, and at Floyd Central. The small world just got a little lonelier and there is one more face I won't see again.
May his friends and his works continue his memory on.
