This is beautiful! And it includes some of my favourite pictures and quite a number of the "Schönheitengalerie" - galery of beaties - collected by King Ludwig I of Bavaria. I truly love those pictures.

It's amazing, but should be "Young women in art." I'd love to see a version with older women.

not every woman in it was young. most, but not all. I saw one or two with grey hair and wrinkles. I myself was struck by the fact that they all had rather powerful eyes. Very different from the airbrushed, glassy-eyed modern beauty standard.
