big_ringer, commenting in scans_daily, links up to a story by Kevin Smith about working on the Superman movie. Almost twenty minutes, but worth it. Not safe for work.

That's why it's in quotes. You know that, I know that, I'm pretty sure Kevin Smith knows that... but the guy he's quoting in the story doesn't appear to know that.

Ah - I thought it was risky just answering to the subject line without actually checking out the links - but I did't want to risk seeing any spiders there... But you know, "know thine enemy" and so on, I felt the urgent need to mention it. :o) They can have the "yuckiest critters in yucky critterdom award" as long as I don't have to give it to them... oh, or if that award has a big heavy foot or maybe IS a big shoe, then I'll give it to them - but I'd still prefer not to be even close. Unfortunately they are so utterly unimpressed by verbal diarrhea.

My wife has declared that spiders (insects for that matter) violate the Statue of leg limitations. Centipedes are right out. Me? I'm a live and let live type, but not for Centipedes. However since Zak came in the house I have hardly seen a Centipede. This is a good thing.

I have to agree with MR. Smith however, that dude has way to much access to the Discovery Channel.

In case you don't know, that's from the DVD "An evening with Kevin Smith", which is a collection of clips from him speaking at various colleges.
There is a second one "An Evening with Kevin Smith 2, Evening Harder" which is him speaking in England. that one has the alternate LOTR ending (http://youtube.com/watch?v=9REBFjxXMNs)(NSFW).
