This is our cat Sam, who is a very sweet kitty and a total fluff-for-brains, but is also smart enough to know what light switches are for. He's also the only cat I've ever seen spend 5 minutes (which is how long in cat time? an hour?) trying to work a doorknob. He knows that doorknobs are the secret to opening doors, and if he could just get up there, he's sure he could grab it and make it work.
