Date: 2007-10-02 02:00 am (UTC)I pointed this out to my wife, Anne, and she said it gave her an idea for her next editorial. She edits two influential healthcare newsletters (www.fiercehealthcare.com), and she thinks she can make an argument for applying this principle to the healthcare industry.
The mind boggles, but she always seems to be ahead of the curve in whatever market she's covering -- she's also written extensively about IT and telephony, and if we'd had the money to invest in the market over the past decade based on her predictions, I'd be typing this comment on a $4,000 laptop on the deck of our Palo Alto estate.
This should be interesting...
