By way of Mike's Blog Round-Up at Crooks and Liars, we hear that Norman Spinrad has a new novel about an Islamist terrorist. Mr. Spinrad is having trouble finding a publisher for the book, so he's put the first third of it online. He's also on YouTube, with his take on the whole War-On-Terra thing (a series of five videos, so make some popcorn).

Wow. Just....wow.

It's not surprising that he's having a hard time finding a publisher. It's unfortunate that Baen won't do it.
