Oct. 11th, 2007 07:45 amDisclaimer: If you don't have any like whatsoever for Larry, Moe, or Curly, just move along. Nothing to see.
Anne got me a copy of Swing Parade (with special commentary track by Michael J. Nelson), and
que_sara_sara asked me about "Swingin' The Alphabet", so I guess it's a Stooge kinda morning. Do you have any other favorite bits of theirs?

*sneaking into a football game dressed as players*
Moe: "Quarterback."
Larry: "Halfback."
Curly: "Hunchback!"
Curly surrounding himself with plumbing pipe.
The boys fishing a large fish out of an aquarium with a fishing pole.
Moe cranking Curly's head in a printing press.
Curly turning into Rocky Balboa when Larry plays "Pop Goes the Weasel"...only to be thrown into a panic when Larry's violin is broken.
And really..."The Curly Shuffle." (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKAfXdb5LsA)

Shemp's wacky money-making schemes, including the "fountain pen that can write under whipped cream" (I never did figure out what good use that would be)
Curly: I can't see!! I can't see!!
Moe & Larry: What's wrong?
Curly: I've got my eyes closed :-) (smiley necessary to convey Curly's grin at that point)

The Original Two-Man Quartet
"I'm taking census, where was you born?"
"Lake Winnipesaukee."
"How do you spell that?
"W-O-... Woof! Make that Lake Erie, I have a cousin there."
"Zee LAH-lee-pop! Zee LAH-lee-pop! Zee la-la-la-la-lee-pop!"
"Woo-woo!"
