ConClave was pleasant, if rather small this year (or so it seemed). Always nice to see everyone, lots of hugs, really more of a relaxicon than anything. Which I didn't even realize how badly I needed. I'm still tired, but I'm feeling a lot closer to human than I have in several months, and it was seeing everybody that did it, no question.

Now... the last two iTom songs. Two FuMP songs, with more on the way. OVFF.

And a Very Special Project involving Randy Milholland.

Not to mention that Foglio stuff lurking in the background.

Heh heh heh.

And what's your week looking like?

And a Very Special Project involving Randy Milholland. *evil grin* Muahahahahahahaha!

...

Other than cackling at the thought of the above, my week will be relaxing. Con was fun but was small. This week I have nothing major planned, which will be nice also... catch up on reading and sleep.

And what's your week looking like?

Two days in the office and then ... vacation! A trip to visit a friend in a place I've never been and to finally see the ocean. (In this case, the Atlantic. Maybe I'll get to the Pacific next year and the Arctic after that. :-)

Good to hear you had a relaxing time; ya deserved it. Looking forward to the new projects.

And me? Work, work, and more work. I'm thrilled. Really.

Finishing up my segment of the next Paranoia supplement from the Traitor Recycling Studio.

Also, there seem to have been a flood of old TomDoesPolitics posts hitting my friendspage today. Did something go awry with the RSS feed?

Must've been. "Thanks" to summer and fall obligations, I haven't posted anything to that in a couple of months. Haven't even logged in to Blogger in at least ten days.

Busy. Very busy. Monday starts the month of having to do 3 months of projects that are all must be done before the week of Thansgiving. I expect that I will be VERY tired once all this done, and will include some working weekends. Thankfully I got a break in the middle of it for Con on the Cob. But other than that, I am going full speed from tomorrow until Turkey Day.

Just got back from one camping trip and gearing up for another. Religious retreat about an hour outside of Austin. Always a good time.

I really enjoyed the concert with you and Luke on Saturday, and I'm sorry I missed your solo concert. You had asked if I had ever seen your act before, because I was in the back, practically ROFLMFAO. I saw you and Luke do "Cthulhu Ftaghn" live at a Lansing ConClave a few years back, when Sarah asked me to come along (Lady Sarah, the Chocolate Goddess, and I dated more than 20 years ago, back in high school-we're old friends, she and I), and I was at the FuMP concert at Penguicon 5.0, with my daughter, Michelle. I'm on Dementia Radio on Tuesday nights, 8-9 pm ("The Travcast, hour three of Blindwulf's Rubber Room Association"), and I try to play your music as much as possible (I live "Tech Support for Dad" LOL).

I go to cons (ConClave, ConFusion, and Penguicon) to get myself right, because my work life is full of uber-mundanes. Trying to explain Dementia to mundanes is like trying to herd cats LOL. I have to tell people that Weird Al and Dr. Demento is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Dementia. I throw out other names (you, Luke, ShoEboX, Rob Balder, and Carrie), hoping that they go out and get hooked on it, considering what's out on commercial radio, these days.

A bit frantic. Busy making jewelry for ICC -- it's like adding a completely different line of product, and I have to have enough of it to look credible. Monday I need to hit the wholesale house and buy supplies, Tuesday I have my after-school beading group, Wednesday I'll have to pack (including shuffling stock around), Thursday morning I leave for Nashville. The 14-hour drive will be a positive relief! :-)

The con looked smaller, but I checked at Sunday registration and they said that is was about the same count of people as last year. I said that maybe the extra goths that came to see Voltaire last year must have been more visible to me. Otherwise, about half the convention did a good job of hidding from me. About the same half that would not have seen me.

Yes, programming seemed lighter, giving it a more relax-a-con feel to it.

This coming week, World War III breaks out among the sib in the settlement of my mom's estate. Oct 26th, dad and mom's creamated remains get buried at the Veteran's cemetary in Holly, MI.

My week isn't looking so great. The guy who was supposed to help me record and mix some music has backed out. That sucks greatly. I still have to worry about classes and work. I have two reports I have to get to working on. And then there's dealing with all the vicious lies being spread about me in the FuMP comments. :P

I could use a relaxicon. Or any con, frankly. Only time I feel like myself is at a con.

Good to hear you're doing well.

So I found your collaboration with Randy. I'm torn between wanting to squee and wanting to say "that had better not be it!".

It's only 'cause I lurve you, y'know, right?

Semi Busy... Work is keeping me challenged and I hope to have some audio editing done by the end of it so I can relax/pack this weekend for a trip next week.

It seemed about the same size at last year, with some more drive by attendees to boot.

I haven't heard the final attendance figures (I thought it was fairly well-attended ...?), but from a security standpoint, I'm happy to report that ConClave was quiet ;]

I still haven't given much thought to what I'm singing in my OVFF concert. Ack! I guess that's the next Thing That Must Be Done ...... 8/
