Re-Animator On Hold For A Few Hours

I'd hoped to be up and writing hours ago. I'm kinda sick this morning. Nothing dire, but I really don't feel like writing. Or much of anything else. Should be at it this afternoon at the latest; I'll let you know.

I'm upright. tarsa's working on it - as soon as the meds kick in and her back quits hurting so bad. Otherwise - we gots kitties. That usually makes for a good day.

Bleah. I'm in the same boat. I don't feel like doing much of anything. And yet I need to do a bunch of photo scans for my parents, replace the blinds in this room, spread grass seed on the lawn, do a bunch of laundry and the various other domestic crap. All while fighting an incipient head cold.

One day I'll get around to re-painting the bathroom. But today is not that day.

I hope you're feeling better soon. Sometimes you do need to take a "Ah, screw this" day to keep your sanity.

Chicken soup and hot water and lemon, lots, and lots and lots of hot fluids. There's a very nasty bronchitis going around town. We've just gotten over it here.

BadKitty's son had to stay over last night-her birthday, so she had some shindig at her place. The boy, who I refer to on the Travcast as "DJ DJ", or "Dj Squared", is playing some web-game on my laptop. Linda/WhiteJedi is still asleep after her weekly Friday karaoke outing. She should be getting up at the crack of lunch LOL.

I've just gotten on a fresh creative kick in the last day or so, and have started working on a bunch of material, both old and new. It'll be some time before the public sees it - it's progressive rock stuff, and I need money to get it pressed - but at least it's activity.

Mousie's not been sleeping well. Well, she's sleeping normally for an SMS kid, lousy for most other human beasties. Mornings are starting at about 4:30-5am

My boss changed my work hours on me on Monday morning, so now I have to find a way to beat traffic to get into the office 30-45 minutes earlier than I have been. Due to school bus generated traffic and in-progress road work, that is more of a challenge than just leaving for work 30 minutes earlier. It looks like I found a hole in the traffic pattern that has worked for me so far, but it still meant getting up 30 minutes earlier than I have been. I am still getting used to that (my body protests by wanting to stay up later to force me to sleep in later). Today is my "catch up on sleep day" and boy did I need it!!

Sable finally started eating on his own yesterday. I'm ecstatic. 11 days of hand-feeding him, stuffing food and pills down his throat, and finally he's eating wet food on his own.
