Easy - Alice in Wonderland. Not the fanciest, not the best written (talk about taking creative lisence) but it is my favorite. It is the reason I have the obsession with Alice that I do. Heck, I just went to Oxford solely to visit the Alice shop. Other than lunch that is all I did.
But then I like just about everything they put out.
I'm afraid I cannot answer your question, as I cannot remember the last Disney cartoon that I saw. By the time I see another, I'll have forgotten to measure it.
Do we count the Pirates films as Disney, being that they are based on a ride and all? Or should we limit the discussion to those actually intended for all audiences.
Because at the moment, the first Pirates film is my favorite movie with a Disney logo on it. But I wouldn't take my nieces.
Whereas I could safely take them to nearly every Disney animated feature - I'd leave out the two Fantasiass. And of those, my favorite is The Emperor's New Groove. Not really representative of the company's usual output, and not the best job of animation, but still at the top of my list.
Disney film. Film with a Disney logo on it. This would include the Pixar flicks and The Black Hole. First Pirates? No problem here. Just got the third one yesterday, watched it happily. Arrr.
My favorite line from the movie doesn't involve dialogue. It's when Wilbur comes back down the pipe a second time just so he can point at Lewis with a slightly more enthesized point, look on his face, and head tilt, before getting wooshed back up the pipe again. Everyone must own it on DVD, dang it! :)
That's a good movie. I saw it at the theater. Remember who the main character is in the future? Remember who the bad guy is and what his minions kept saying? Also do you remember what Louis did to keep HIM from turning into a bad guy? Do you remember why HE turned into a bad guy?
