There are numerous fan-creation gift frenzies that have been going on for the past several weeks. One here on LJ is [livejournal.com profile] yuletart, which I had not paid attention to... until Anne aimed me to this.

Got any fanfic or fan art recs for us?

But if it's one of Sam's daughter's, why is Frodo still there?

Obviously, some poetic license. Elanor is born March 25, 1420 of the Third Age (Shire Reckoning 1421). Frodo sails West on Sept. 29 of that same year. Elanor therefore is only six months old when he leaves.

I'm totally reading that as "Yule Tart" and thinking of fanfic Cyprians. Which leads to "it's a drabble, not a drab!"

Nativity (http://www.yuletidetreasure.org/archive/12/nativity.html) was written for me in 2004.

It's Dogma/Brimstone crossover. Imagine John Glover as the Devil and Alan Rickman as the Metatron trying to outsnark each other. In the kitty litter aisle of Wal-Mart.

Brilliant, funny and amazing.
