I've never read the Scott Pilgrim comics, but this makes me want to go out and read them before I see the movie.

Agreed. I've seen the comics on the rack but not read them, so no bias there. And I love the style of the trailer.

If I knew nothing of the comic, the trailer would sucker me in.

Looking forward to this and "Kick-Ass"

Yeah, I saw that and couldn't stop grinning. Not only was it pitch-perfect to the comic (especially Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Ramona), but the "oh, this looks like your typical 500 Days of Summer-type indie flick" opening...right up until "it hurts" and everything goes sideways. Fantastic.

I'm iffy on Michael Cera, but you better believe I'll be lining up to see this one.

The only problem I have with Michael Cera is that he's a 1-trick pony. He did a great job on Arrested Development, and he's been getting cast as the exact same personality in various movies ever since. Not having read the Scott Pilgrim comics, I couldn't say whether that personality fits the character.

I'd not heard of this before, and now I MUST SEE THIS NOW!!!!

Thanks!

(I think, just what I need, another chance to practice my patience!)

It had better not be delayed six months coming to the UK!
