Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] drzarron for linking up to the trailer for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Opens May 22. Here's hoping.

I can't express how excited I am about this.

"Raiders" is quite easily my all time favorite movie so Indy is an old friend and it'll be GREAT seeing him again.

I appreciate that Ford put his foot down and said he would only play Indy if he was his age (mid 60's) and not try and make him younger.

So, so excited!

The swelling up of the music sent a chill. Especially up to that point the trailer was pretentious (or rather, mock pretentious) and I thought someone had forgotten who were dealing with.

Looks very promising.

My wife and I used the Indy theme as the recessional for our wedding. Hearing played with aplomb on a large church pipe organ was a great way to start the adventure of marriage.

Well then.

I know what I'm seeing for the traditional post Balticon geek out memorial day Monday.

Hmm, not sure that I like a 60-ish Indy swinging around like Tarzan. And there's something wrong about an Indy film with CGI. But still, it's F-ing Indiana Jones!

Spiffy! The new Narnia flick opens on my husband's birthday, and the new Indy movie opens on mine. The movie gods love us this year!

(I hope.)

60ish man jumping around like that doesn't bother me. My Dad could have done that in his 60's no problem. Heck he could do most of that now and he's almost 80.

Is it here yet? Is it here yet? Is it here yet? ::bounces::

Someone else complained about Indy doing all the jumping around at 60.. my Dad's 80 and still scales trees, gets up and fixes the roof and couple probably still kick me ass (not that he ever has, I just never doubted he could)>

Please, please tell me that Kate Capshaw gets her heart pulled out in this one -- preferably in mid-shrieking whiny petulant complaint.
