One of our dear friends, award-winning author and generally terrific lady Sarah Zettel, has relaunched her web site, http://www.sarahzettel.com. It's got many goodies, and you should check it out.

Anyone else doing something fun with their web presence?

If I might plug, I recently posted a lot of unique, hand made jewelry to my web storefront. There's more to come, too. :)

My latest is up at seethefnews.com (http://seethefnews.com). Think stock market simulator where you invest in fnords.

I finally updated my web page last weekend for adding sources of the CDs I recorded/published. http://www.floatingfilk.com

Now I just have to add in the proofreader's fixes to the site and its going to be ignored till I have a new CD to list. (I should work on that tonight too..)

As a part of my ongoing effort to dispel the myths started by the OTHER ghost tours in town, we've launched Weird Chicago: The Blog (http://weirdchicagoblog.com). It'll eventually serve as a supplement to our book, which should be out this summer. I've been adding updates daily! Since research and detective work is just about a full time job for me, it's nice to have a daily outlet!

Also in the process of updating adamselzer.com (http://adamselzer.com) now that the new book is only weeks away.

One of these years, I plan to rewrite my web page in XML, mostly to learn it. But first, I have to track it down. My ISP moved some servers around and all my pages are MIA.

One of these days I will learn how to write and administer a database.

Years ago, my husband wrote a little Perl(?) script that would take the top line off a data file and email it to me, then move that line to the bottom. The data file was a list of reasons why he loved me.

I'd love to someday offer a similar service to others, without requiring that they have a Unix shell account.

As a project to learn the basics of Dreamweaver, I made my site extol the virtues of a peer to peer board and card game engine that facilitates player created content, so people with no programming experience could make games like Munchkins, Car Wars and Titan (and I could make dozens of games for my friends and I to play). I hope someday an unethical game company steals the idea, because there's no way I can program it on my own.

Now I'm trying to learn Flash so I can make a web card game for my friends to play.
