Here.

We could be having one hell of an eye-candy summer. And I don't mean just Christina Ricci as Trixie. Va-va-va-voom.

Besides this, Indy Jones 4, and Batman: The Dark Knight, what's on your summer must-see list? (Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince doesn't come out until November, so it ain't a summer movie.)

I was never a fan of the anime, but there is something hypnotic about the look of the movie.

And a long shot up C.R's booted leg in a helicopter, always a bonus.

They shot the movie with a new technique that allows full, perfect focus no matter the distance from the camera to the object. This allows them to duplicate the looks of animation for real-world shot scenes. CGI should be 100% indistinguishable from reality.

I am excited about the movie for this alone. It's a major milestone in technology, possibly equalling Lucas' Star Wars innovations.

I'm looking forward to The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.

Though I can't decide if I should re-read the book beforehand or go in with the same blissful ignorance that accompanied me to the first four or five Harry Potter movies.

I. AM. IRON MAN.

I have not looked forward to a comic book movie like this in forever.

I think Hellboy 2 is out this summer, too.

I want to see Iron Man. I didn't read the comic but I love superhero movies. I've seen all the serious ones (even Superman Reruns and Ghost Rider).

But what I'm really looking forward to is the Batman movie. I live in Chicago and for the movie they blew up a building I pass by on the train. It was an ugly abandoned building attached to an old candy factory. In the movie it's a hospital but I'll still cheer when that eye sore goes bye-bye.

My movie list for this summer is:
Indiana Jones
Hell Boy 2
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
Prince Caspian
Speed Racer
Iron Man
The Incredible Hulk (with Ed Norton)
The Happening

(some of it is because I have teenage kid and he wants to go)

Wall-E is the only movie that will get me to give money to the local rip-off theaters. I mean it, they go out of their way to make sure you _know_ they are ripping you off every little way they can. And then they complain about declining business. *Sheesh*

New trailer and scene from the movie here:

Indy and Batman top the list. Iron Man and Prince Caspian and Hellboy are next on the list. Wall-E is probably there too but as much as Pixar impresses me usually, this one looks a bit cutesy for my tastes.

Unless there's only about two minutes of good film in Iron Man, this is going to be a must-see for me.

And...oh yeah, Wall-E.

Everything else can wait for Netflix.
