Off To MillenniCon
Mar. 14th, 2008 09:55 amOne of my favorites, and it's at a new (well, different) hotel this year. I've got a set Saturday at 4:30, another at the Masquerade 'round tennish, autographs (yeah, yeah, I know) Sunday at 1:00.
Who's gonna be there?

Date: 2008-03-25 08:24 pm (UTC)My wife and I had driven from The Land of Mordor (well, that's what it's called until Cheney leaves) to check out the con - both because I admire Steven Barnes' writing and wanted to meet him, and wanted to see if it was the kind of smaller, more intimate con where you really get to interact with the panelists. I was pretty happy on both counts, but we skipped your concert earlier in the day to get food; I regret it now!
With us leaving at the break of day Sunday morning, I only had one chance to talk to you in person; and, frankly, we needed listening material for the drive home. You made another new fan that night, both for your music and for the good humor with which you put up with me.
