Circumstances are taking me back to Florida during the first week of April. Unlike the last time, I'm not scheduled for any particular activity.

So. Does anybody between, say, Daytona Beach and Tampa want to host a house concert during that time?

Just thought I'd ask.

You know, if you happen to be driving, Georgia is on the way to Florida. It's a great place to stop and have lunch or something...

How cool would it be to see you twice in the same month? Beyond awesome, methinks.

Not out of the question. We're still planning our route. You're Savannah-ish, correct...?

sadly, I don't think my apartment has enough room for a circle (for that matter, I'm not even sure there are other filkers around!!)

but let me know where/when and I'll try to be there!!

That's a distinct possibility. Wednesday might be a little tricky, but (depending on external circumstances) that's definitely doable. What day and time are you thinking?

I think I need to talk to the proprietors and suggest direct contact...

I sincerely hope that the pretty way does not involve Orlando traffic, nor potholes anywhere on I-4.

Hey, totally off-topic, here, but just swung by to say a big, heartfelt thanks for 'Don't Gotta Be A Big Star' - what a roaring tune! You've always had such knack for candid emotion and point-blank truths served with a lush side of great vocals.

(Once upon a time, I dropped in to say my thanks for "Starlight and saxophone" online, for the comfort it brought me on a really rough night. The nights are still tough, I still have the song on the second successor for the hard-drive I had way back then, and it's still an awesome song. I firmly hold the opinion that you could do a version without keyboard/sax - or even a cappella, but that's just my twisted mind. Any case, you responded very kindly with virtual hugs, to a total stranger, and that kinda made my day and still does every once in a while - it proves that there are people with real heart still around. I just thought I'd return the favor now as heartfelt thanks, years later, in the hopes it might cheer you up. Hopefully it's not too sappy. :>)
