Business: Gracenote/CDDB, and the Street Team

Some nice soul put the iTom CDs, the FuMP album, 'n' stuff up on Gracenote. Unfortunately, there were some typos, which I have fixed. Later today I'll get Last Hero taken care of, along with a bunch of other things I've finally almost got finished.

You are all great, and I definitely have better fans than I deserve. And I think I've come up with a way to both reward you for your efforts and subtly (well, okay, not at all subtly) cajole you into doing some more.

I'm thinkin' it's a good idea to set up a Street Team.

Not precisely sure what the details are going to be yet, but there will be stickers and posters and flyers, there will be a special CD-R .iso to burn and hand out to local radio and DJs and the like, and there will be perqs. I've already got an Eventful Demand button on the MySpace page, which I'll have very soon on the main web site, and more stuff with Airplay Direct, Soundclick, and a few other places. More podcasting. More and better press-kit photos. My schedule, updated more frequently.

Any suggestions for any of those?

Those didn't come thru me, but I do submit info when I run into it being missing. I think I submitted one of your CDs at some point in the past.

How do you get them to update the information? I know how to submit it (via winamp.)

Actually, Gracenote recommends Quintessential Player (http://www.quinnware.com/) (QCD). I tried it, and it worked very well, very quickly.
