In case you had forgotten about it, this is the first anniversary of International Pixel-Stained Technopeasant Day.

Dunno if anyone else is doing anything for it, but I am! For today only, you can download a few special goodies:
  • A gift song, "Everybody Wants A Barb" (there's also a video on YouTube!)
  • Another gift song, "Kate And Jaana"
  • "Something Positive", written for Randy Milholland
  • "Brothers Under The Skin", commissioned by Anthrozine
  • the raw audio from my concert set at EschaCon 08 on March 29 in Philly
For once, I'm gonna try to keep a rough head count. If you download something, please comment here. Also, comment if you link to this post. And, of course, link up if you have any of your own works to contribute! :)

ETA: My bad. I should've made it clear that the video link above is to a YouTube page.

ETA2: And they're down (except for the YouTube video). Thanks, everybody! I hope you enjoy the music.

As I have to leave for work in about 10 minutes and still need to get the kids up and going for my husband to herd along I don't have time to download these now. Hopefully I will remember to download them this evening.

WHen I get home I will download all five. There's no good reason to download anything at work since (sigh) my office computer has no sound card.

I will also participate in the day's celebratory activities.

As a sidenote: Today is The Bard's 444th birthday. (Julian Calendar. You could wait until May 3 to celebrate it on the Gregorian Calendar.)

I'm not doing much. I've got my icon, and I might post some short fiction to the blog today.

I am downloading the S*P song and the concert. I may grab the other three songs as well, it is hard to not have TSO material I know that I can grab without pirating.

Actually, there'll be a bit of an update later today that'll address that. But always remember: If you like my stuff, and you find it free, donations are always welcome (http://www.tomsmithonline.com/buystuff.htm).

I grabbed the concert audio. Looking forward to a concert-at-work now!

Nothing of my own to contribute, unless you count really bad song ideas. At least us engineering types have something good to listen to while we design power substations and such. I could share some of them, I guess.

Do the Technopeasants fear the Technoviking?

Definitely snagging the audio from your concert. I love seeing you in concert and hearing you is the second best thing. :)
