A couple of weeks ago was the first anniversary of International Pixel-Stained Technopeasant Day. I uploaded some songs, which a lot of you got, but some missed, and I thought that, since there wasn't a huge amount of notice, I'd make 'em available again for a couple of days:
  • A gift song, "Everybody Wants A Barb" (there's also a video on YouTube!)
  • Another gift song, "Kate And Jaana"
  • "Something Positive", written for Randy Milholland
  • "Brothers Under The Skin", commissioned by Anthrozine
  • the raw audio from my concert set at EschaCon 08 on March 29 in Philly
They come down at roughly 6:00 am EDT Wednesday, so get 'em while they're hot. :) And, if you do, please leave a comment, mmkay? Thanks.

ETA: And they're down (except for the YouTube video). Thanks, everybody! I hope you enjoy the music.

Oh the glory that is new Tom songs. Well, new to me, anyway. More songs to share with friends who have not yet met the wonderfulness. Life is good.

I've spread the word around the Bujold list & other happy places, including mentioning the website & free stuff *all the time* [much like Miles ;)].

I hope you enjoy them! If you like them, there're certainly lots of other goodies available, in an almost infinite variety of styles. Don't forget the friendly tip jar.

[livejournal.com profile] filkertom needs to write more Bujold filk, though.

Snaffled!

BTW, there are some instrumental Tom Smith albums (okay, about 2-3) on iTunes -- are you that Tom Smith as well?

I am not. There are a number of other musicians named Tom Smith, including this very nice guy (http://tomsmithmusic.com/). I'm pretty sure the one you found on iTunes is this guy (http://www.tomsmithguitar.com/index.htm) -- great stuff.

At this point, the only albums of mine on the main digital distro sites are And They Say I've Got Talent and The Last Hero On Earth. Very soon, though, I'm putting up the iTom albums, the FuMP compilation, and Homecoming: MarCon 2005 (by way of CD Baby). And Plugged and Debasement Tapes will most likely be added as well. May as well get the stuff where as many people as possible can find it.

Thank you! I was introduced to you through your It's Cannon Harry Potter song, and I've loved every song I've heard. That one is still my favorite, though.

Thanks for re-posting, Tom. We were at the farm when these went up, and downloading at 26K (dial-up) was just too painful.
