Game Of The Day
May. 7th, 2008 07:58 amOhhh, I'm gonna be spending some time at this site: the Game of the Day Blog (not to be confused with the nearly comatose Game Giveaway of the Day Weekend). Reviews of, and links to, freeware games for to be knocking your socks off. The guy's only had it going for a couple of months, so it's not that arduous to go all the way to the beginning, and it's worth it.
Also, EA's Sims 3 page is live.
Any good games or freeware you've recently just discovered that we need to know about?

Date: 2008-05-07 01:24 pm (UTC)It's one the most well written series I've ever had the pleasure to play and has an absolutely stellar voice acting cast, including the late Tony Jay.
On that same note I also have to reccomend Primal for the PS2. Andreas Katsulas lent his voice to one of the characters as did Hudson Leik (Callisto from Xena). It's a woefully underlooked title, the the combat mechanics take some getting used to. I liked it though/

Date: 2008-05-07 04:19 pm (UTC)but man, the only way they could make sims3 any better was if they married it with Second Life so you could go into it.
[big problem I had with SL, there was never anyone around. Now if people's avatars remained online on auto-pilot, or they had NPC's like CoH, that would work.]
