A nom nom.

Thanks, [livejournal.com profile] huskiebear.

It happens that today is the birthday of Edward Lear. Got any links to other fine nonsense?

Hee. I haven't seen that old Eh Hazard AMV in years. I'm sure it's on a disc around here somewhere ...

Thanks for linking that. Of course, now I'm going to have to dig out the old El Hazard OVA series and watch it.

Man, saw that video at AX a bunch of years ago and died laughing with the whole audience. Thanks for the memory, Tom!

Thanks, I needed that. I immediately went looking for an MP3 and some background info. I found both, and a whole lot more, at this page.

A silly chicken race:

But then again, any kind of chicken race tends to get silly.

Also, I can't stop imagining cat macros being set to this whenever I hear the "a nom nom" lyrics...

ZOMG this brings back memories...!!

RJ and Dave -- two morning DJs on one of the local mainstream radio stations in Duluth, MN -- used to play this song *every morning* for probably about 2 months one spring, ca. 1980 or so. We waited for it and then ran out the door to the bus stop.

Hoop nom!

Ah El-Hazard. It introduced me to anime. I even did a MST3K job on their TV series. It's still a favorite of mine. Too bad it got such shoddy treatment in the sequels. Thanks for the memories.
