Lotsa stuff on the agenda today, the first of which is MarCon.

Long, interesting, crazy weekend. Saw many, many nice people. Got many hugs from beautiful women. Exhausted the hell out of myself with my set on Friday, although I thought it was a pretty good set (and thanks to [livejournal.com profile] judifilksign for signing it). Spent a lot of time at the dealer's table with [livejournal.com profile] lukeski and Sara and [livejournal.com profile] singingpatient and [livejournal.com profile] huskiebear, and I hung out some with [livejournal.com profile] janet_coburn and Dan and [livejournal.com profile] dubheach and [livejournal.com profile] sylverwolfe and Kane and [livejournal.com profile] surakofb5 and [livejournal.com profile] braider and [livejournal.com profile] tollers (got Wild Mercy's new album, yay) and [livejournal.com profile] ladysprite and Arnis and the other Becky and her two boys and Yonnie for FSM's sake and [livejournal.com profile] robin_june and a whole bunch of other folk. The sing for Bob on Friday, [livejournal.com profile] scs_11 and [livejournal.com profile] markbernstein and [livejournal.com profile] old_fortissimo and a bunch of others. Some very nice time talking with Julie W., not as much time as I would've liked talking with Alec, and I sang for about an hour at the MillenniCon room party with Christy and Grant and [livejournal.com profile] peachcat001 and a bunch of other folks, and the Trotters were there and Dock and just all kindsa folk, Sally and Gary and I didn't actually talk to Mary Alice but I saw her, and on top of everything else Dawn (can't remember her LJ name, I'll find it) came up to me with a Dragon shirt from Ray Van Tilburg -- the Dragon*Con shirt from last year, without D*C's logo -- and she said it was her favorite shirt of mine and I didn't wear it anymore and the last time she saw it it had a hole in it (like that would stop me from wearing a beloved shirt, I'm a guy, I just hadn't brought the shirt to the last few cons) and she bought me the shirt before I'd had the chance to buy it for myself. Incredibly sweet, very much appreciated.

I hope your weekend was okay...?

Susan Hope makes very good couscous. Motorcycles are fun but I'm not ready to even think about driving one yet. And my kitties missed me while I was gone. Very lovely weekend. Very tired Sarah. Bet I end up asleep on mom and dad's couch before mom finishes cooking dinner - once I get there, must get there first.

Oh, had my phone off because I spent most of the weekend with Erik but I've been looking at it to see if John called me to tell me his mom was gone... my dad called me at quarter after 10p - they're always in bed by 9p so I freaked. Listened to the voice mail and all dad wanted was to know how to make MS Word to double spacing. **GARGH!!!!** *breathe*breathe* Well, at least no one died or anything.

I had the pleasure of your, Luke's, Carla's, and [livejournal.com profile] huskiebear's company for the weekend. I'll let you know how my recordings came out when I have time to review them... Hopefully this weekend. Great to see you again, great concert, and I loved Judi performing with you.

It was a pleasure talking to you. (I was in the mad scientist getup in the dealer's room. We talked about the backing track for 307 ale. 8) )

Stop by my blog, check out the masquerade skit we did. 8)

Yeah. I can't remember if you were still there when I had my great idea, or if I told you, or what, but, yeah. That conversation will lead to the most awesomest version of "307 Ale" EVAR.

While I am aware that I was not part of the consideration for doing this, I am thrilled that you brought the show to the Millenicon room party! I would have missed it otherwise. Thank you!
The weekend was full of good people, and also a total of 8 hours of driving with good traffic. Yay!

Oh, heavens, i had so much fun this weekend that when Beth at work asked me if I had enjoyed my 3 days off, I was grinning ear-to-ear. In public.

I always enjoy singing with you, Tom. It's nice to do our respective "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do" parodies with someone who'll correctly do the other part!
