He was, as usual, amazing. "Senator McCain, this is now EMBARRASSING."

holy crap. He actually mentioned the possibility of secession. Cascadia has been but a twinkle in our eye, nothing we'd put any real organization around, but... I'm floored. But frankly? If (and that's an IF the size of Texas) we had somebody (NOT Obama, thanks; he's already acceded to wear the puppet strings, and while I'll vote for him, I no longer harbor any illusions about his status as a politician vice statesman, post-FISA) that had the both the cojones and the principles to lead, I'd say go for it. Heck, we could do the "mouse that roared" scenario if nothing else... get UN recognition, then immediately run up the white flag and ask for aid...

LOL..

That was awesome...

However, I think it is just a bit disingenuous to say that the networks don't have an impact on the election. There's a reason they're not supposed to project a candidate as winning a state until all polls have closed in that state...

but I get what he means, I just think he would have been better off saying that they can't seriously impact a campaign...

Read some of the comments on Crooks and Liars. There are some seriously bitter Hillary diehards out there.

Ahh...Keith. "Notes in crayon" for the win!

But I do disagree that the media can't influence an election...wasn't that one of the big things in the 2000 election...that the early 'call' of Florida screwed up the vote in that state?
