International Talk Like A Pirate Day is in twelve days. What should we do to celebrate? Yes, yes, obviously, talk like pirates. But what else? Should I write a song, do a live Second Life show, what?

And, of course, my kids are honoring their fictional ancestor there, as well as their real 15th century Dutch pirate ancestors. (my side just got horse-thieves)
I may even make cannon-balls for dessert. (Bake a chocolate cake, crumble it, mix with enough nutella to hold its shape, roll in chocolate jimmies)

Including putting on concerts and events. Most of the concerts so far have been with the Gaelic-flavored Baltimore area ensemble Keltish but we are eager to branch out.
Of course, if you go with Emi / DJ Particle we will understand and show up in droves anyway. No ego here, just lots of squee!

Date: 2008-09-08 11:34 am (UTC)Can you write a piratey song that involves the chorus to pass around bottles of rum, but doing so makes the singer more and more drunk during the song itself.
Leading to an occasional (punny) mixup (I'm not half as think as you drunk I am) to outright putting words completely wrong but it still /sounds/ right.
Of course, the song ends when the rum is gone and the singer is falling down drunk.
