There are a gazillion fantastic moments from the various Muppet shows on YouTube. Here are a few of my favorites:I could do a million of these, but then how could you post yours? :)

Oops. The second link does not indeed address that vexing issue. This should do the trick.

I've always particularly enjoyed THIS historic moment in television history:

New question: if any of the Muppets were to run for office, which would you vote for?

I assume Mahna Mahna is already inthere :D

The very first act of the very first muppet show in the year I was born, if I recall correctly :D

It is. But your saying that made me realize my cutesy idea of you spending a half-hour on YouTube to find out what the heck the vids were was kinda dumb, so I just labeled 'em.

Hey, I didn't mean to spoil your idea. But as it is, in my timezone I'm used to plenty of people already having plowed through everything. So mahna-mahna HAS to be inthere.

As an aside, have you seen the new fan-made music videos on Youtube featuring muppets?

I wish I could find an early Muppet show episode that it seems like nobody else but me remembers (after all, I only get two hits on Google (http://www.google.com/search?q=%22I%20believe%20in%20fondue%22&sourceid=mozilla2&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8) when I search for it)...

The show gets a messenger by... telegram? Messenger service? ... that the guest isn't showing, so they grab the messenger boy to be the guest. At some point in the show, he's in the dressing room having the following transcendental experience:
I believe in fondue. Do you believe in fondue, too? I believe that if you look deep in the heart of every man, there you will find... melted cheese.

[edit] A more exhaustive search suggests (http://people.umass.edu/amckenzi/aquotes.html) that it was Chris Langham, one of the writers, subbing in for ep 519 (http://muppet.wikia.com/wiki/Episode_519:_Chris_Langham) when Richard Pryor couldn't make the taping (though, in the show, they say the missing guest was Benny Brillstein, the Yiddish yodeler). Unfortunately, I can't find anything semi-official linking the quote to Langham.

The guest was Chris Langham (http://muppet.wikia.com/wiki/Chris_Langham), a writer for the show, who filled in when Richard Pryor was unable to make the taping. His life went kinda downhill (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Langham) in the past few years.

WHAT SEASON IS THAT ONE? I remember that one and I can never find any info about it! It's got Hawaiian Cowboy as the final number, and the Dead Owl impression. I LOVED that one.

"The Emperor's Deathbed" - I'm guessing that's deleted from the DVD, right? Because I distinctly remember that scene from when I saw the film in the theatres, so many years ago...

One of my favorites was "The Garden Song" with guest John Denver (one of my all time favorite singer/songwriters)...but the video wasn't availble on YouTube. :(

Of course almost ANY JD/Muppets skit is cute in my opinion.

I think mine (after Kermit, of course) is Yoda. And the Doozers. And the "Dooblidop" aliens. I also really loved all the muppets in Labyrinth.

Since "Mahna Mahna" is already up there (a song which I will also begin singing in response to words like "phenomenon"), I'll have to list my second favorite:

Rita Moreno and Animal performing Peggy Lee's "Fever":

The heck with "phenomenon," I do it for most any tetrasyllabic word that it fits for.

Back in, um, 2002 I think, I was on a conference program committee and one of the submissions involved a tool or language or something called "anemone." (I don't remember if it was a forced acronym or not.) I muttered the obvious refrain under my breath, and the people on each side of me both hit me for earworming them with it.

Crystal Gayle performing filk on the Muppet show:

Alpha Centauri, ships, and magic. Dr. John Filpus and I both agreed that it was filk, after it aired in Ep 402.

There's another copy with slightly more sharpness to the resolution, but it's from the French show, with Scooter and Kermit dubbed (though not the song):

I don't have the link for it (and I know you're not one to toot your own horn), but Time Machine's video to "A Boy and His Frog" is one of my favorites. I'm not mentioning this to impress anyone. I think the video shows us the heart of what the Muppets were all about. We see the magic, the smiles, the emotions it has brought us.

And as angry John Cleese dressed like a fliminko (sp) dancer and Steve Martin doing the "would you like to smell the bottle cap" is a definite plus.

A few others worth seeing:

1. Lullaby of Birdland, as played by the Electric Mayhem with Don Knotts.
2. Their version of With a Little Help from My Friends. Completely sick and twisted, and they got away with it.
3. Sam the Eagle's speech on nudity.
