People wanted someone who prayed about problems instead of fixing them. Sorry to say this, but they got what they asked for and deserve. I can only hope that when things are finally repaired that everyone remembers this example of what doesn't make a credible leader for a very long time.

the talking points state that Bush "kept the American people safe" after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks

Homer: Not a bear in sight. The Bear Patrol must be working like a charm.
Lisa: That’s specious reasoning, Dad.
Homer: Thank you, dear.
Lisa: By your logic I could claim that this rock keeps tigers away.
Homer: Oh, how does it work?
Lisa: It doesn’t work.
Homer: Uh-huh.
Lisa: It’s just a stupid rock.
Homer: Uh-huh.
Lisa: But I don’t see any tigers around, do you?
Homer: Lisa, I want to buy your rock.

She got it from old Henry Crun's elephants....
"They must be hiding somewhere Min or how would they have got away with it for so long?"

I bought a whole CASE of tiger-repellent rocks a few years ago. Best thirty thousand bucks ever spent.

My brother wants this entire thing as his cell ring tone.

He said that people would just have to deal with him not picking up until the 9th ring.

Hmmmmm... A long list of Bush's legacies sung to the tune "It's the end of of the world as we know it."

It's bad, starts with right wing mad and hanging chads,
two aeroplanes - Cheney says to be afraid.
Eye of a hurricane, heck of a job Brownie
World turns from friend to foe, dummies serve your own needs.
Feed the rich with tax cuts, loot the surplus,
Sabers start to rattle with fake fear and fright,
Liar like his sire, reward the neocons, a government for hire and a combat state
Right of reason and rapture in a hurry with habeus corpus flushed down the drain.

(forgetting the next few lines of lyrics to the original)

It's the end of Bush as we know it,
it's the end of Cheney as we know it,
It's the end of the nightmare as we know it, and I feel fine

(and it gets silly from here on out)

A little late to worry about it now, ain't it?
But woot for Olberman lining it out where you can hear the various *high* points of this Administration.
