Doom is very displeased that this was inadequately publicized. There shall be repercussions.

Also, there seems to be some dissent as to whether the date in question was yesterday or today when, in fact, it should henceforth be every day, in perpetuity, as is only fitting and proper. However, for the convenience of all -- and who dares say Doom does not concern himself with his subjects' welfare? -- it shall be today, Saturday the 13th of December.

As a final note, Richards is a pompous, egotistical incompetent. This is not news; in fact, it is hardly reported at all, hence my mentioning it now.

Now, my beloved subjects, go forth and speak like Doom. SO SPEAKS DOOM!

Why would you want everyone to talk like you? Would that not fool them into thinking they are you? Do you really want that, O Great and Fearful...er, I mean Feared...One?

I should crush you like a grape for such insolence, but your reasoning intrigues me enough to answer your question.

Inexplicable though it may be, Doom is not the most revered leader of our time. Yet. Moreover, even though Doom is sufficient unto himself, there is, or at least there is perceived to be, strength in numbers. And so, there have been numerous attacks upon my person. Thus, I created my army of Doombots, vastly inferior simulacrums yet able to fool all but the most discerning of opponents, of which there are none.

Seeing the value in further misdirection, I have authorized Talk Like Doom Day. The effect is enhanced by more and more of my subjects reciting my wisdom and holding it, and the manner of its delivery -- i.e., Doom -- in their hearts.

Now, question me no further! Doom is baking cookies.

But surely the imperious tone and the air of command are sufficient for one who talks like Doom to distinguish himself from the egotistical rabble who unnecessarily refer to themselves in the third person!
