Face Front, True Believers! A very happy 86th birthday to Stan Lee!

If Smilin' Stan and Jolly Jack (Kirby, uv cuss) were doing a comic book of you, what would your code name be, and what would your advertising blurb sound like? Remember that we're talking in The Mighty Marvel Manner, i.e., the wonderfully goofy over-the-top shtick Stan used in the 60s and 70s. I think mine would be something like:
Only the House of Ideas could present a tale of such wonderment! Only the Mighty Marvel Bullpen could delineate a saga of such scope! Only Stan (The Man) Lee and Jack (King) Kirby were available to bring you the epic of music, mayhem, and munchies we just had to call... "When Strums The IRON FILKER!"

My my... I think Charles Schultz would have a 3 Hz spin in his grave should Smilin' Stan and Jolly Jack ever takes up my webcomic and spins an epic onto paper.

But just in case...

The challenge has been laid down, and only the Masters of Marvel Mechanization can match it. Only Elder Comic Engineers Stan (The Wordsmith) Lee and Jack (The Draftsman) Kirby could step up to take on a universe of unusual creatures, wonderful sights, and strange abilities: Kelly "STrRedWolf" Price's Stalag '99.

Stan's gonna outlive us all. I've met the guy. He's the world's oldest 12-year-old boy.

True Believers, you won't believe what fate has in store for our very own dice-slinging, dutiful dork in this twisted, two-fisted tale of temerity and tribulation! We can't even begin to describe it, so we're not even going to try! Just sit back, relax and enjoy as we present...

"The Green Gamer's Gambit!"

I have a slight problem with this request. While WildCard has always been my hero name, I am a DC hero rather than a Marvel hero. So my ad copy would come from Julius Schwartz rather than Stan The Man Lee. Sorry, Tom. I gave myself lots of little powers, some more useful than others (like I could fly, but only a little faster than I can run, I could breath underwater but I swam only as fast as a normal person. And my teleport never landed me right, when it worked at all. But I was doubly strong and fast as a normal person, at least for short periods of time, I didn't have much endurance. If the Teen Titans had their version of the Legion of Substitute Heroes, I would have been in it).

Marvel Western Tales brings you a story so strange, we had to research it twice! A hero who won more fights with his wits than his gun, and left people on the ground laughing, instead of bleeding.

That's right true believers Only the Elder Gods of Marvel, Stan [The Man] Lee and Jolly Jack [King] Kirby could give you tales of the Master of the Strange, the Sensational and the Cynical, the sheer pulse pounding excitement of the adventures of that mighty mystical techno-magical phantasmagorical wonder that is The Silicon Shaman !!

From the Magnificent Marvel Machine -- from the depths unguessed by mortal man -- from the seedy server rooms -- for the first time in comics -- you cannot afford to miss the arrival of -- "The Network Programmer"!
