This one's for [profile] lukeski:

What do you think would be cool when said by a giant robot?

Any of the Homer Simpson-esque "Mmmmm... ".

At least, it'd sound cool using this particular Optimus Prime voice.

Given that it's the same voice, I really would have liked to hear some of Eeyore's phrases. :)

I'm in an animated mood this morning:

"Be vewwy, vewwy quiet. I'm hunting wabbit."

"Where's the kaboom? There was supposed to be an Earth-shattering kaboom?"

"I may be a craven little coward, but I'm a greeeedy craven little coward."

Or, more recently:

"My master is good and smart, and made me this collar so that I may speak to you. Squirrel! My master is good and smart."

With apologies in advance to Gilda Radner...

Crimes against Robot Hannity? You mean like the fact transforming robots are even capable of turning left?

Forgot to mention - this reminded me of another Letterman Top Ten list from several years ago. They did "Top Ten words that sound sexy when spoken by Barry White". #1 was "gingivitis".

I just want to say - Peter Cullen (the voice actor behind Optimus Prime) is a GOD - and he's the voice I remember from the animated series when I was a kid. It was SO fantastic to hear him doing the new Transformer movies. :D

I saw that, too.

How come when I post a Top 10 list hardly anyone responds?

For anyone who's curious, I've posted at least 10 Ten lists on my LJ, mostly from 8 or 9 years ago.

Optimus Prime sings "The Ballad of Serenity".

I dreamed that once, and Shania Twain was also there. Can't remember if Optimus impressed her much.
