David Shuster was filling in for Teh Keith last night, and this little report is a, ahem, hum-dinger:

"...looking forward to an up close and personal taste of teabagging themselves..." (regarding Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity)

Bwahahaha!!

...0.o...

Tongue lashing?

Teabagging?

They keep saying that word...do they know it doesn't mean what they think it means? I mean, are they not doing their research? Do they KNOW we're LAUGHING at them and why?

Wow! I never watch when Teh Keith himself isn't on, but maybe I should. This was epic. Did they gank writers from The Daily Show? Many props to good ol' David there for getting through that without cackling hysterically.

Brilliant. Thanks for this.

Maybe that explains the Virginia GOP embraces soft-core porn (http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2009/4/14/719891/-Virginia-GOP-embraces-soft-core-porn) story....

I doubt any crackpots are going to turn up here on Barrayar; we voted for VorBama by a very large margin.

If they did, I'd be tempted to show up with two teabags dangling from the zipper of my pants. I could ask if I could dunk them in their hot water.

(pause)

Really, it's good that they aren't planning a protest here.

The real brilliance of it is that the right wing can't go into their usual high dudgeon about the inappropriateness of these reports without admitting that they know what the joke is.

Another thing...

The original Boston Tea party involved people protesting that taxes were being imposedby the King on tea, and so they threw tea into the ocean.

Now, they're planning to protest that higher taxes are to be imposed by the Obama Administration on rich people.

Therefore, shouldn't they be throwing rich people into the ocean? Just sayin'.

Why do I want to bust out laughing whenever I hear the word 'teabagging'? ...especially after I looked it up in the Urban Dictionary?

Go laugh your socks off at this Jon Stewart Daily Show clip:

He takes 'teabagging' to a whole new level of hilarity.

I like this definition (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=teabagger) in particular, even though the grammar is faulty:

teabagger

A conservative republican who protests against income taxes by rubbing their nutsacks in each other's faces.

Senator David Vitter is a teabagger who wants to cut government programs during a recession.

These conservatives are having so much trouble coming up with new names, we should help them avoid future literary fumbles.

So to start with, they should consider:
