I'm still waiting on getting video from the Assembly Line Concert (there's a fair amount of video online at that link, but not me, as far as I can tell). But I do have something neat.

Artist Ed Campbell spent a whole lot of that week and a half drawing sketches of the performers.

Here's mine.

I've got a few other sketches I need to get online at some point, including the nice one by Randy Milholland, and there's the really great one by Bill Holbrook, and I'm pretty sure I've got one from Elaine around here somewhere, and....

Got any artistic versions of yourself that you like? Link 'em up.

I wish I could... I have an extremely weird one that one of my sisters did when she was in Junior High School. It's a profile head shot with eyes floating in my hair. Looking at her work then and now is interesting. She's a professional artist/art teacher with a what is basicly a doctorate in art restoration. (I really like her surrealistic art period.)

That's a damn cool sketch of you!

Someone did an awesome caricature of me at Nipplepalooza back in November of 07 that I have yet to scan in and put up. I still have it, I just haven't ever gotten around to scanning it in.

Those are nice!
I don't really have any sketches that someone else would have done of me, but what seems a long, long time ago, in a galaxy... never mind...
But when I was in art school, I did do at least 1 self portrait. I know where it is, and except for the fact that it is very large (A2 sheet of paper, which is roughly 4 x letter size) I would put it up today.

My default userpic was drawn at the 1976 Westercon by Kelly Freas. He did give permission to use for any purposes I liked, such as userpics and Christmas cards. I think he was ticked that I even asked actually.

OK, it was 30+ years ago, but I still look like that on the inside. ;-)

Edit: the caption in the lower left says: "Gremlins do too exist!" That was the Westercon where they performed "The Capture" by Robert Asprin and Phil Foglio; the catch-phrase was on everybody's lips of course.

I wonder how many times Asprin performed that piece. I heard it in Houston in...1988?

I suspect you'll recognize the artwork style in this icon, Tom.... ;-) I bought the sketch at FurCon in January.

I'm quite partial to this version of a friend and I (http://www.200ok.com.au/team_random/img/profvone_and_grandmasta.jpg) (I'm the one on the left). The original wild-haired von Explaino. OK, so it's technically me as a character, but I still identify with him :)

I own the original B&W pencil sketch that I scanned to make this avatar.

Someone colored it in for me once upon a time, but I forget who it was.

I have a few other renderings of myself, usually from people I meet at the cons...
