YES YOU DID! Both he and Hawke have roles in it playing... musicians in a browncoat bar! They admitted it wasn't a stretch for them. They have new music for the movie which will be on the soundtrack. The film makers are browncoats themselves and used many a fellow fan from all over (and they even managed to acquire some props for the original show, but I don't know what and where we will see them)
These are very very good people just happy to be doing good works. I'm working with them through Firefly Cargo Bay and am thrilled.

I believe that I saw the Bedlam Bards playing in that preview. Nice to see them included in the fan film. I know they are both huge Firefly fans.
I will miss Dragon*Con this year, so hopefully this will be available online to watch once it is done.
