Indeed.

I'm guessing that Wright and O'Malley have discussed the ending, seeing as we saw a bit more of the Gideon/Scott fight, and the last book hasn't come out yet.

Of course, since the book comes out in July, the trailer doubles as a teaser for i too--as if I needed incentive--so I can get the volume, read it, and then be even more hyped for the movie. Right on time.

This couldn't be planned better.

Oh, is that how they're doing it? I had wondered. I've been following Scotty Pilgrim since Avram said "you'll like this, it's Canadian" about six years ago. :)

I'm assuming so, anyway. The last volume is out in July, the movie is out in August, Wright clearly cares about capturing O'Malley's story accurately...

I'd heard the two of them were simply planning to have divergent endings to avoid juggling details between two in-production works (or spoiling either work), though I don't have a source on that right this minute.

Hm. That's interesting.

We'll see, I guess.

I... I don't know what to say. At first blush it struck me as a typical boy-meets-girl, coming-of-age teenager thing.

But then the First Evil Ex-Boyfriend showed up. O_O

I've got to see this.

That's pretty much the way exactly everyone reacts to it. :)

Read the first couple of volumes of this, then stopped in part 3 'cause it got tricky to discern flashbacks from what was actually going on.

However, the movie looks ten tons of fun and I will definitely see it.

Really interesting concept. The book series is young-adult, I take it. If so, seems healthier than effin' shiny vampires.

This looks more like what I wanted a Dragonball movie to be than Dragonball Evolution turned out to be.
