Canada Day

filkertomMy apologies for not posting this yesterday -- y'know, on the day. But yesterday was Canada Day, and our neighbors to the north don't often get the appreciation they deserve, so let's extend the celebration an extra day!
Who are some of your favorite Canadian musicians and bands? I'm going to assume most everyone here has heard of Stan Rogers, Barenaked Ladies, Gordon Lightfoot, Canadian Brass, and our own Urban Tapestry and Dave Clement (and if you haven't, have you got a wonderful voyage of discovery ahead of you). And we should show our endless appreciation of the excellent folks who run FilkOntario.
My own additions to the list would include (but are by no means limited to) Bruce Cockburn, Grit Laskin, and Crash Test Dummies.
