Yowzers. End of an era. Locus Magazine publisher, editor, and co-founder Charles N. Brown has passed away at the age of 72. Condolences to his family and friends.

Condolences to his family. But I must admit, the "died peacefully in his sleep on his way home from Readercon" intrigues me a touch.

*sigh* it is so tempting to joke that "Linus, Lucy, and Snoopy are all in mourning", but that may be seen in bad taste. Definately an end of an era for Lotus magazine.
