See, this is what happens when I don't pay attention: DC Nation (on the Cartoon Network) starts cranking out quick episodes of Amethyst: Princess of Gemworld.
Let me repeat that: AMETHYST: PRINCESS OF GEMWORLD.
If, somehow, you never read this comic, let me say it again: AMETHYST: PRINCESS OF GEMWORLD.
Sometimes, the universe is very kind.
So. What's your favorite YA series of late?

What DC's doing these days smacks of, well, of what pro wrestling fans call "hotshot" booking (definition from Wikipedia: "A rushed feud, climax of a feud, or big match on television instead of at a pay-per-view in order to get a short-term boost for business. Also applies to angles or turns that are done for shock value rather than acting as a part of an ongoing storyline." In other words, desperation. Seriously, how many times has the DC universe been rebooted in the past eight or nine years?
