Apparently, a decent-sized meteor fragment his the atmosphere and exploded over the Urals yesterday. The video is cool as heck, but also kinda scary:

I find it ironic that I missed NASA's live coverage of today's known asteroid, which just passed us, because I was busy watching videos of the meteorite hitting Russia twelve hours ago.
