Can't Spell "Twitter" Without "Twit"

filkertomTen years ago yesterday, the US launched an unprovoked, illegal war of aggression against Iraq.
I really tried to just let that horrific anniversary go by. I'm trying to finish a bunch of things, I'm not feeling well (no big, just malaise and a lingering headache), I just don't want to think about it.
And then Donald Fucking Rumsfeld has to open his big, virtual yap:
But, no. We must partake of our betters' wisdom, after all.
I haven't even got the energy right now to unleash a rant. Although, honestly, I certainly don't need to. The rest of the Intertubes did it for me, 140 characters at a time. The third response to Rummy's little word vomit on Twitter has already become famous:
I ain't holdin' my breath.

10 yrs ago began the long, difficult work of liberating 25 mil Iraqis. All who played a role in history deserve our respect & appreciation.More than anything else he's done, this proves Donald Rumsfeld is a jackass. All he had to do was... nothing.
