filkertomOvernight, things apparently went completely berserk in the Boston area. Information is obviously sketchy (here's a good aggregate at dKos), but two men suspected of being the Boston Marathon bombers killed an MIT police officer, robbed a 7-11, hijacked a Mercedes SUV, and then got started.
One of the suspects is dead, the other is considered armed and dangerous, and a number of communities around Boston (as well as Boston itself) are on no-fucking-around lockdown.
If you are anywhere in the area, keep your doors locked and your heads down. This is serious.
