Date: 2010-06-30 04:50 am (UTC)The premise behind WW's new personal timeline and the new outfit reminds me actually of the recent trend in paranormal romance, with all those urban sexy street-smart heroines endowed with, or dealing with, magic. This seems at first glance like the "Anita Blake" version of Wonder Woman, which may or may not be a bad thing. How permanent this is is anyone's guess, as comic book writers change pretty quickly over the years.

Date: 2010-06-30 04:55 am (UTC)Incidentally,. on the comic page for November 11, 2002, WHAT is that vision Agatha has in the alley with that cyberpunk-ish looking woman in the portal? Did that ever come up again anywhere in the comic? Was that from some other work of Foglio's making a brief cameo?
