Date: 2010-07-22 04:21 am (UTC)Surely you remember the 2008 Election, right after Obama was elected a lot of people (myself included, I confess) kept saying "Hey, Obama better get on the offensive and show some guts or McCain'll walk all over him!" But he didn't. He kept backing off, retracting and making concessions to the right-wing attack machine, and as a result, it wasn't long before the McCainiacs thought they could get away with anything, no matter how stupid.
It's called "Rope-a-Dope", and whaddya know?

Perhaps you haven't noticed, but ever since a person of color with an ethnic-sounding name got elected to the highest office in the land, little by little the right has been peeling off its facade of "common sense, dignity and goodwill" and showing its full-blown wacko face.
Case in point...
