Oh hell yeah. It's been out since just after Portal was released. Eric's one of the Amiga's biggest heroes.

We had several screensaver and trippy graphics programs for this in VGA mode, where mirrored lines would be drawn on the screen and the palette would rotate the colors of the lines. Worked well. But 16 and 32 bit color put an end to it.

Okay, I never put two and two together until now.

That old "Seize the Day" color cycling program... (the example you linked contains some color-cycling artwork from that program)... I had no idea that was Mark Ferrari's work. I remember loving that program a lot. I think it still ran under compatibility mode in most Windows versions... I think Win7 finally broke it for good...

It had a DLL that contained the color cycling art, and if you renamed the DLL to EXE it could run the pretty pictures standalone without the daytimer calendar program...

Long after that program became defunct, I met Mark at some conventions in the Pacific Northwest, not realizing he'd done that art. I'll compliment him the next time I see him.

NICE! This demo from 1979 is also quite worth checking out (and pretty mindblowing for 1979)
