Greetings, all. MillenniCon was, as usual, a lot of fun, and [livejournal.com profile] huskiebear and I saw several good friends and just had a splendid ol' time hangin' out with [livejournal.com profile] braider, [livejournal.com profile] zencuppa, [livejournal.com profile] lukeski, [livejournal.com profile] surakofb5, Bill Levy, Juanita Coulson, Mary Alice and Gary of Dark Star Books, Nick and Linda Winks, Sally Kobee, and more. Many thanks and hugs to Pat Stanley, Christy Johnson, Chris Barkley, Mark Evans, Dan Ryan (Happy Birthday, Dan!), the lovely Celeste, and the rest of the MillenniCon staff for their usual marvelous job.

Now, back to work on Personalized Song templates for the web site, and on Sounds Familiar, which I would really love to have for MarCon.

Oh, and, I can now confirm that I will indeed be at To Be Continued, May 6-8 in Schaumburg, IL.

So, how was your weekend, and how's the week looking?

I just blogged on this whole sorry Terry Schiavo mess. Because of that, I think it's an excellent time to make out a Living Will. Here's a good generic one from the Michigan Bar Association.

In case all copies of mine get lost, I, Tom Smith, do not want to be kept alive in anything like a "persistent vegetative state". Communication and awareness are of utmost importance to me, and I do not wish to be nothing more than a husk that used to make puns. If I can blink "yes" and "no" consistently, that's one thing, although I reserve the right to blink "no" in response to the question "Should we keep you alive?" I wish to be neither an emotional nor a financial burden to my family and friends, and would prefer them to remember me at my best.

Now, let's hope this isn't needed for forty years or so. :)

Update: Here's a timeline with a lot of links to a lot of information.
