My Batshit Adventure begins this afternoon, when I head out to Anne's to wait for HBP to go on sale at midnight. Tomorrow, it's off to ConFluence just west of Pittsburgh; my solo set is at 3:00, and The Tom & Pete Show is at 5:00.

The Death Of Dumbledore...?

Many, many people have speculated on whether or not Hogwarts Headmaster Albus Dumbledore buys it in HBP. Well, Guardian Unlimited has a contest -- descriptions of the old guy's presumed demise in various and sundry author and literary styles.

Okay! The book goes on sale at midnight tonight. If you want to talk about it, here's the place. Just to keep everyone sane, if you have any comedy spoilers, please label them as such. They'll still be funny tomorrow. :)

Yet More Harry Potter

I only just today discovered the archive of manga-style cartoons at Studio Mapi. Way fun. Some not completely work safe, although nothing too gauche. The comic strip ("Tickling the Sleeping Dragon") is a hoot.
