Happy Birthday, Roe v. Wade

On this date in 1973. dKos has two excellent diaries about it, one highlighting efforts to circumvent the law and one with a lot of great action links so you can help maintain and preserve this vital freedom -- the freedom of a woman to choose.

Update: This diary, of a clinic escort, is also way cool. And the comment by Jonathanonymous, near the top, with the subject "I am sorry" will break your heart.

Podcasts

I'm probably not going to do a podcast of my own for awhile. I've had some success as an artist on the Podsafe Music Network -- I upload the tracks, the podcasters use them or not. And I've gotten decent play -- several by the Podsafe Comedy Countdown, among others. Love for "I Want My Flying Car", "Lars Needs Women", "Blue Screen of Death", "Can't Get the File to Play", and now "Take Your Hands Off the Bear". Makes me smile.

Audio Software Goodies

TruePianos is finally out. $180 for the download. Can't get it yet... but I will. You can download a demo that works for 40 days. And you have to hear the audio examples. (Only PC for now, but a Mac version is coming soon.)

Antress updated her Modern Plugins series. Nice stuff, and free.

I must've been busy last year. There are at least two cons that I agreed to go to that I forgot about completely at one point or another. The one I was reminded of this morning is ConGenial in Racine, WI, the weekend of March 30 - April 1. More information as I have it, although there is an LJ group, about_congenial.
